About Us and the T&Cs
Hi thanks for checking out Magic Bike Mike, we are a web based company in the South of England. MBM is a few friends who love bikes, we also have close links with a few local bike shops with many many years of experience, handy when doing old school builds. We try and keep all are helpers close by, so the companies that do our powdercoating, print sticker, cnc parts and spray paint are all within few miles of our base. we also try and recycle where we can, if you ride/buy/sell bikes you are already helping the environment, but everything helps.
So here we are a workshop full of bikes ready for you good people to customise how you want, we ain’t the fastest company at building as we want to get it right, but we do get great feedback back from our customers and very little warranty issues, and if something does go wrong, we get it sorted. Poor warranty service is not on or acceptable, we don’t like it so why should you.
Which brings us nicely to the T&Cs

Any Problems with your purchase within the first 30 days and we will refund your item minus any postage costs, if item has been sold with free delivery we will deduct the exact cost to us as shown on delivery receipt.
To honour the 30 day return item must not be used and in its original packaging, if we have made a fully customised bike for you and you wish to return due to not liking and we have made as you have asked we will not issue a full refund, but come to a happy medium, the bikes can take many hours to sort so we have to cover our time. Please be aware if you have had handlebars, tyres, saddles etc changed this would not be classed as a fully customised bike, if we have had to powdercoat, spray paint or make one off personalised stickers, then this is where we would be looking at a discounted refund, unless we feel we could sell bike on easily, then we will issue a full refund again minus any postage costs. We have had no issues yet but I guess we better cover all bases.
If we have sent the wrong item or its been damaged in delivery please inform us straight away, and we will sort ASAP, we will of course sort postage costs if it’s our error, if postage company has clearly broken item (we would not send out a smashed up box or envelope) then check before they leave and either refuse or make sure to note damage as we cannot make a claim if you sign for a damaged box and it’s not been marked down.

SHIPPING AND POSTAGE
We use Parcel Force for our bikes and larger items, for smaller items either 2nd class recorded or Myhermes, if your item does not turn up all the companies we use have tracking so we can search out your product, most will still say 7 to 14 days before they can help us, or pay for a claim of a lost item, luckily using secure postage we very very rarely have issues.
We can deliver bikes anywhere in mainland Uk free of charge, anywhere else please email email@example.com as we currently only sell in the UK, but on occasions we have sent bikes overseas.
Parts are worked out individually as weights can vary massively on bike parts so check the item listing to find out price.
We currently are not VAT registered, but when we do, we will be sure to add a VAT number for you.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
We only keeps records for date of purchase, but no payment details are kept, we do not sell your details on to anyone, nor do we have any interest in doing so. We use Paypal a trusted transaction company and our shop is powered by Shopify, using encryption software I can say we have no understanding of, but I do know they do. When we are busy during working hours emails can take longer than normal for a reply, but we do work late so keep your eyes peeled as we do check emails after hours. We have Facebook and Twitter account to babble on all night, so we defo can check emails.
